How to Turn on Email Read Receipts in Gmail?

  • Go to the Google Admin Console and then sign in there by entering the current username and password of your Gmail account.

  • Next, you need to go to the Admin Console Dashboard and then click on the button named as APPS.

  • After that, click on the G SUITE button followed by clicking on the Gmail option and finally the ADVANCED SETTINGS button.

  • The Gmail experts recommend everyone to tap on the EMAIL READ RECEIPTS section and then you have to check the box next to the option named as ALLOW ALL email read receipts to be sent to all addresses in my contact list.

  • Moreover, you also have the option to select the names of the users whose email read receipts you want to receive in your Gmail account.

  • The final step is to click on the SAVE button and then you might have to wait for at most an hour before the read receipts would finally become enabled on your account.
