Often people face problems related to internet connection. If you are wondering why my mobile data is on but not working on android phone then there are a few ways you can try to fix this problem in both android and iPhone.
1. Airplane mode
The easiest way to fix your internet related issues is to turn on the airplane mode of your phone. Wait for a few minutes and then turn it off. Now turn on your mobile data and see if internet works.
2. Restart phone
Another simple way is to switch off your phone by long pressing the lock button. Start your device after a few minutes and check if the problem has solved.
3. Mobile Data Limit
It might happen that you have set a mobile data limit in your android phone and you have reached the limit. Check this by going to the setting icon and selecting Mobile Data option. You can turn the limit off or change it according to your data plan.
4. Reset settings
To fix mobile data not working on iPhone issue you can also reset the settings. Go to settings icon and open ‘General’ menu option. Select reset option in it. Now select ‘Reset Network Setting’ option. Give your iPhone’s pass code and do the reset process.
5. APNs
You can also reset your Access Point Names (APNs). Go to the settings option and select Wireless & Networks option. Select Access point names option under Mobile network. Now reset it to default by selecting this option from menu icon on top-right corner.
6. Network mode
To fix mobile data not working on Samsung phone or android you can set the network mode like 2G, 3G and 4G correctly. Go to the settings option. Open Mobile data option and go to Network mode. Now select the network mode which suits your phone like ‘2G/3G/4G auto’, ‘3G only’ etc.
7. Update
You can also update your device’s system to latest version. Check if an updated version is there for iOS or android. Update and see if your problem is solved.
