Step 1:- Initially launch Outlook 2010 and click File then Info and then Account Settings
Step 2:- Then click Account Settings on the Account Settings drop down menu
Step 3:- Under the Email tab needs to click the account that the user wish to update and then click Change
Step 4:- Then perform the following steps to configure the settings
In the User Information section the user need to enter his or her name for the Your Name field and enter the Frontier email address in the Email Address field
In the Server Information section he or she needs to select POP3 as the Account Type, enter pop3.frontier.com for the Incoming Mail Server (POP3) and enter smtp.frontier.com for the Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP)
Then Click More Settings
Step 5:- In the General tab the user need to enter a name for the Mail Account, such as the Frontier email address, pop3.frontier.com or Frontier and then click the Outgoing Server tab
Step 6:- Then select My Outgoing Server (SMTP) requires authentication and Use the same settings as my incoming mail server and click OK
Step 7:- Then click Next and then Finish
Step 8:- To enable SSL encryption:
First Click File then Account Settings
Then Click Change
Make sure that the user have pop3.frontier.com for the incoming server and smtp.frontier.com for the outgoing server
Click More Settings and Advanced tab
For the outgoing mail server type 465 and Check the box next to this server requires a secure connection (SSL)
For the incoming mail server type 995 and Select SSL from the drop-down menu next to Use the following type of encrypted connection
Click OK then Next then Finish
Step 9:- Finally follow the instructions for Microsoft Outlook in Enable SMTP authentication.
