Apple iTunes is digital media library software, available for free from Apple. It allows you to catalog, sort, play and buy digital music and movie files, as well as synchronize these files with your iPod, iPhone or iPad.
iTunes has an intuitive graphical interface. There are several areas where the preferences are configured in iTunes, but there is also a default preferences menu.
The main iTunes preference menu is accessed by dragging on iTunes in the menu at the top of the screen (when iTunes opens) and select “Settings”. This is where most preferences are configured. There are more tabs at the top (General, Playback, Sharing, Store, Parental Controls, Devices, and Advanced) and by clicking on one of these tabs you are able to change settings for screen and performance of iTunes.
You can Change Preferences in iTunes to sync your music and movie. You can sync, or choose manual sync automatically, and you can customize further in the different tabs of iTunes. iTunes allows you to make many different changes to make sure you get your music, games, movies and more just the way you want on your device. This is a great way to manage storage on your iPod or iPhone.
Open iTunes on your computer.
Connect your iPhone to the computer via the USB cable.
Click your iPhone under “Devices” on the left side.
Select or remove the Sync Preferences you want to switch to “Settings” in “Summary”.
Select the tabs to customize sync preferences.
Click “Apply” when prompted. A window appears asking if you want to apply the changes you just made your settings when you try to access another part of iTunes.
