How to configure the Sasktel email in iPhone?

Sasktel email is one of the secure email service with all the latest email management features. Here are the steps to configure the Sasktel email account on iPhone –

  • Open the device and tap on ‘Settings’.

  • Move down and select ‘Mail, Contacts, Calendar’.

  • If the user is setting up the account for first time then click on ‘Others’ followed by ‘Add Account’. If the user already has an email account then tap on ‘Add Account’, then ‘Others’ and followed by ‘Add Mail Account’.

  • Enter the Sasktel email account details and click on ‘Next’. System will verify the account and tap ‘OK’ if the user sees any error message.

  • Now choose ‘IMAP’ or ‘POP’. Move down and enter the correct password under Incoming Mail Server and Outgoing Mail Server.

  • Tap on the ‘Advanced’ button now.

  • Scroll to ‘Incoming Settings’ and make sure ‘Use SSL’ is ‘ON’, password authentication is done correctly and enter Port ‘993’ for IMAP and ‘995’ for POP.

  • Now tap ‘SMTP’ under Outgoing Mail Server. Under Primary Server tap ‘’.

  • Make sure ‘Outgoing Mail Server’ settings is done correctly and for that make sure ‘Host Name’ is ‘’. Also enter the Username and Password correctly. ‘Use SSL’ should be ‘ON’ and ‘Server Port’ should be ‘587’.

  • Now tap on ‘Done’, then on ‘Account’ and again ‘Done’.
