PowerPoint is a suite of applications in Office which enables the users to create a document in an effective way. The features are outstanding and very fruitful for the professionals. However, if you failed to access PowerPoint and getting an issue ‘PowerPoint not working’ then you need to go for the advanced solutions rather than conventional one.
Click on the ‘Start’ menu and enter ‘PowerPoint’ in the address and hit Enter.
Now, click on the ‘File’ tab and select ‘Options’.
In the ‘Options’ page, you will lot of features of PowerPoint, select ‘Add-Ins’.
In the ‘Add-Ins’ page, you will get the list of add-ins, move to ‘Manage’ section located at the bottom of the page and select ‘COM Add-ins’ and then click on ‘Go’ button.
Thereafter, a new page will appear and it will feature the list of ‘COM Add-ins’. Select the one and click on ‘Remove’ button. Repeat this task for all and empty ‘Add-ins’.
Close MS Office.
Click on ‘Start’ menu and type ‘Control’ panel in the search bar and hit Enter.
Move to ‘Programs and Features’ and here, you will find the list of installed applications. Select MS Office.
Now, right-click on it and select an option ‘Change’.
Thereafter, a new window will open with options, ‘Add’ and ‘Repair’, click on Repair and then click on Continue button.
That’s it; the rest of the work will be done by MS Office. Now relax and when the process is finished, just restart your computer and access PowerPoint in an effective manner.
